The Untimely Death of Steve Irwin

I know this probably does not relate to soap operas, but I was saddened to hear about the death of "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin. Apparently, he was died Monday, September 4, 2006, after being stabbed in the chest by the stingray's poisonous spine while filming on the Great Barrier Reef. What a horrible way to die. He was 44 years old. His show on Discovery's Animal Planet channel was wildly popular and quite outrageous. Some say that he was destined to succumb to imminent danger. I am not one to speculate but I do think it is wrong to show the film footage over the Internet or anywhere. I mean a man died on camera and nine times out of ten, someone will try to exploit that. This is truly a sad thing when people have to lower themselves to such a level. May he rest in peace.
